My son has non-speaking autism and communicates with a letterboard.  It was important for him to have a knowledgeable instructor that treats him with respect as an intelligent student.  Aviel Vaisler has been my son's tutor for several years now, instructing him in physics, algebra and now geometry.  We have been incredibly impressed with Mr. Vaisler's skills as an instructor.  He pushes my son to reach for more when he masters the material and offer him insightful help when he is struggling with a concept.  Mr. Vaisler's subject matter expertise is incredible and he uses this fluency to make learning enjoyable.  He is an outstanding teacher and our family highly recommends him.

Due to a long medical absence from high school, my son fell far behind in his AP Physics class. The school arranged for Mr. Aviel Vaisler to tutor him.. Mr. Vaisler proved to be very knowledgeable, helpful and patient. He was also very punctual and was very accommodating of our full schedule. He arranged to meet with my son at school as well as at our home when the schedule so dictated. My son and I are very thankful for his dedication and persistence with making sure that my son understood the material. As a result, my son not only caught up, but did well on the exams and quizzes that he had missed due to his absence.

...Aviel's background gives him a unique perspective in working with students. He has a multitude of practical experiences upon which he draws in making connections with students. His experiences give him many opportunities to give students practical motivation for their studies.
